I've been on the hunt for more pagan black metal in the vein of Kawir recently and this album is really hitting the spot in that regard. Somehow missed this earlier in the year but glad I'm circling back to it now. This thing is full of epic riffs and battle chants from the highest peaks. Ondfødt give you everything you could ask for in a pagan black metal album and then some.

South American 90s era inspired black metal. Kicking off fast and raw with the usual tremolo picking, blast beats and raspy and grim black vocals. Eternal abyss incorporate slow to mid paced parts, and those are the best of the album. Great listen - recommended!
